Jordan Dallas Zimmerman, aged 31, tragically passed away January 15th as the result of a work-related accident in Lykens Township Dauphin County. Jordan had been born December 8th 1992 in Danville to John and Jewell (Byler) Zimmerman of Turbotville; their loss has left an irreparable hole in their hearts due to his dedication as family man, entrepreneur, and active community member.
How Did He Contribute to His Community?
Jordan was an active participant at Millmont Mennonite Church and participated in its Bible Club for children and teenagers from his community. Jordan not only took an active part as an attendee in religious education and moral guidance – his involvement also extended beyond being just an attendee at worship services.
What Was His Professional Live Like?
Professionally, Jordan owned and operated JZ Services specializing in liquid waste hauling. His entrepreneurial spirit and work ethic were apparent as he ran his business with dedication and efficiency for essential community services he delivered with commitment. Jordan’s career exemplified hard work and service.
What Were Jordan’s Interests and Passions?
Jordan displayed an infectious zest for life which could be seen through his many interests – working, reading, serving others and most importantly spending time with family were just a few of these activities he found fulfilling and exciting. All his hobbies and activities centered on enriching both himself and those close to him.
Jordan’s legacy will live on through his family. He leaves his legacy alive through Alisha B. Wenger, whom he married May 28th 2022; as well as their son Kendrick Wade Zimmerman he will carry forward in line with his virtues from father. Additionally he leaves three brothers Justin (Lynnae), Jason and Jay from Turbotville as well as two sisters Joy Zimmerman of Mixcoloja Guatemala and Janelle from Turbotville who represent its global reach and impact.

Family and friends will have an opportunity to remember Jordan at visitation from 1 to 4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. on Friday, January 19 and from 9-10am on Saturday at Millmont Mennonite Church located at 1250 Millmont Road – this same church will also host his funeral service at 10a on January 20, officiated by Millmont Ministry.

Following his funeral service, Jordan will be interred at Millmont Mennonite Church Cemetery – near where he loved and served so well – his final resting place being an opportunity for family, friends, and community members to commemorate and remember his life.
